Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
I will not be serving alcoholic drink, if any of my customers wish to bring alcohol to my premises I will make sure they are over 18 and not drunk and only if they are dining in the restaurant. I will make sure that when they leave all the belongings are packed in a bag, safely and cleanly. No one will behave disorderly in public, children will be safe and easy access to get out in case of emergency.
The prevention of crime and disorder
I will not allow any drugs or crime and disorder of any kind on my premises. I will keep the premises clean and safe for the public.
Public Safety
Fire exits and fire extinguishers.
Easy access to First Aid kit.
Make sure all the doors open easily and a sign on every exit so the public can get out easily in case of an emergency.
Make sure floor is safe and doorway and path are kept clear.
The prevention of public nuisance
I won’t allow any nuisance. Background music only.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
Where there are any offensive smells created on the premises, provision shall be made for such smells to be vented from the premises so that they do not cause a nuisance to nearby premises.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there shall be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area outside and adjacent to the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter which originated from the premises.
The protection of children from harm
In the restaurant children will be dining with their parents or another adult. In the takeaway I will make sure children are safe and they will not be served after 9pm, unless an adult is with them. Anything suspicious I will report to the Police.
