Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
I will stay clear of any crimes or disorder behaviour, I will call the police for assistance and never get involved in trying to stop the crimes, if I feel it will put me or the public in danger.
Public Safety
I have staff and public liability insurance. I will regularly train my staff with Health & Safety issues. I will always keep an eye on what is going on around the premises to keep a safe environment.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
I will build up a good relationship with the local public and make informal conversations so that they feel welcome. If anyone is misbehaving I will ask them nicely not to be a nuisance.
Where there are any offensive smells created on the premises, provision shall be made for such smells to be vented from the premises so that they do not cause a nuisance to nearby premises.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there shall be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
The Protection of Children from Harm
I will inform the police if I notice anyone who may be a danger to children. I will present the premises in a safe way so that children wont be harmed by fixtures and fitting. I will also keep the floor space clean and tidy.
