19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
I intend to install CCTV to cover outside the shop. I will also stay in contact with the police and council with crowd problems if any arise.
The Prevention Of Crime And Disorder
The Shop Has CCTV inside, I intend to extend the coverage to include every area that could be a problem. It will help identify crowds if any.
I wouldn’t sell alcohol to persons who seemed to be intoxicated with alcohol.
Public Safety
Maintain a clean and tidy shop and maintain and clean outside the shop regularly making sure all the rubbish is collected and disposed off the property. Report to the council if any problems arise.
The Prevention Of Public Nuisance
With the help of CCTV I can identify people outside the shop encouraging other people to come in and buy alcohol for them. If any problems I would contact the police and sort out the problem by identifying the people.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
No light from or on the premises and any other light under the control of the premises shall be provided where that light causes a nuisance to any nearby premises, unless it is considered necessary by the local Police force to prevent crime and disorder.
The Protection Of Children From Harm
I am aware of alcohol legislation and age limits and always ask for proof of ID, if any doubt of age I would request sufficient ID like passport to sell alcohol.
