MANDATORY CONDITIONS
19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
We will ensure all staff are aware of the operating schedule objectives.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Posters will be displayed with the 'Challenge 25' logo on and ID checks will take place to reinforce this objective.
We have in place adequate lighting and a secure parking area enclosed within electric gates.
Public Safety
We have an electric opening gate to the floodlit car park. We also have a ramp entrance and disabled toilets. There are also 3 fire exits within the bar area, posters will be displayed explaining the fire assembly information. We will ensure all escape routes and exits are kept well maintained.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
We will get a taxi firm to install a taxi phone. This will alleviate any congestion around the premises and its surrounding area.
We will display posters asking visitors to 'leave the premises quietly and respect the neighbours'.
We will also place refuse in outside receptacles between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when entertainment is being provided, other than for access and egress and in the event of an emergency. if additional ventilation is subsequenty necessary, then it shall be attenuated in accordance with a scheme submitted to the licensing authority.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments iin a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date pf the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
Recorded music will only be played for a maximum of 3 days a week.
Residents are to be advised of planned events including those to be used under a Temporary Event Notice.
There are to be no 18th, 21st, Hen or Stag parties allowed under the terms of the licence.
The premises shall work with local residents to establish the best location for sound speakers via testing and consultation.
The premises shall work with residents to establish the best site for a smoking area to avoid noise to residents.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Ensure all children are accompanied by adults and that all visitors are aware of this.
We will ask for ID for anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 - Challenge 25.
