19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General - all four Licensing Objectives
We will do all we can to be prepared for the sale of alcohol and promote the four Licensing Objectives. We will also constantly look to improve any of these four areas on a regular basis.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
To be in contact with the Local Police.
To ensure/stop any crime and disorder.
We have CCTV cameras to deter problems.
Public Safety
Available fire exits/extinguishers. Majority of alcohol to be kept behind till/counter. To have a bin outside the shop to stop any rubbish being dropped on the floor.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Only opening/serving alcohol till 8pm per day maximum. Ensuring no late night problems at the shop or in the area. To not serve anyone intoxicated with alcohol. To report any problems to local Police.
The Protection of Children from Harm
To have appropriate signage in the shop to prevent underage drinking.
To take ID for anyone looking under 21.
We will have the majority of alcohol out of reach behind counter, some being in a fridge away from children’s products (chocolate etc)
