Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ADDITIONAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The following conditions shall come into force on 1st October 2010
1. (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
All members of staff will have initial in house training in respect of Asda procedures which includes Liquor Licensing. All checkout operators and their team trainers have additional training in the sale of alcohol.
The premises will be constructed in accordance with Plan No. 6251 [10] 10 as served with the application, or in the case of alteration to that plan, any further plan served on the responsible authorities and licensing authority prior to the opening of the premises.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The premises will have inn place internal and external CCTV cameras. The cameras will be maintained in working order and footage will be retained for a period of time to the satisfaction of the police.
Proof of age will be required from any person appearing to be under the age of 18 who is attempting to purchase alcohol at the premises. If the appropriate proof is not produced there will be no sale.
Public Safety
Asda seeks to comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety legislation.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
CCTV coverage to external areas and car park is designed to deter anti social behaviour.
Home deliveries from the store will only take place between 0800 - 2300 hours Mondays to Saturdays and 1000 - 2200 hours on Sundays save for the Sunday before Christmas at which time home deliveries from this store will take place between 0800 - 2300 hours.
The Protection of Children from Harm
All stores will have a till prompt system for age restricted products. Proof of age will be required from any person appearing to be under the age of 18 who is attempting to purchase alcohol at the premises. If the appropriate proof is not produced there will be no sale.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
The premises will not open to the public for licensable activites other than between 08.00 to 23.00 on Mondays, 07.00 to 23.00 on Tuesdays to Fridays, 07.00 to 22.00 on Saturdays and 11.00 to 17.00 on Sundays.
