Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
Staff are trained and briefed regularly on all four licensing objectives, related to our trade business. Prior to opening for business, list of safety checks to be carried out, to ensure the premises are safe. Any defects and remedial actions taken are recorded and kept in the file.
The prevention of crime and disorder
A tamper proof CCTV is installed and records during all hours of opening. A notice board to be placed in the customer area indicating that violence and disorder is not tolerated here. Police will be informed immediately. Report every incident of crime or disorder in the premises to the Police and Council.
Public Safety
Prepare fire safety plan.
Installed fire extinguisher and blanket.
Clear any objects that may be hazardous to the public, in the customer area and on the counter.
Slippery surface sign to be placed in the customer area when the floor is wet.
The prevention of public nuisance
Canopies and extractor fan with filters are installed to remove the smell and smoke through a pipe to the rear side of the premises and exit from the rooftop.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area outside and adjacent to the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter which originated from the premises.
Please note that the hours of closing applied for do not correspond with the planning conditions which are Sun - Thur 23.30 hours and Fri - Sat 24.30 hours. If you wish to vary the hours of closing please contact the Local Planning Authority on 0161 911 4105.
The protection of children from harm
Instruction given to staff not to serve food to under aged customers (children under 16), if he/she is not accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 after 9pm.
