Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
GENERAL
We intend to take realistic steps to promote the four licensing objectives. In general all staff will be advised to promote the prevention of crime & disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
Where CCTV equipment is fitted, it shall be maintained in good working order for the purpose of crime prevention and public safety
Signs will be displayed at entrance of trading hours under the premises licence
No person will be allowed to enter the premises if they are under 12 years old after 22:00PM, unless accompanied by an adult
Digital CCTV WILL be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of EVIDENTIAL QUALITY in all lighting conditions. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits and all areas where the sale/ supply of alcohol occurs.
Equipment MUST be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings MUST be kept in date order, numbered sequentially and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police on demand.
The Premises Licence Holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed member of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format ie DISC to the Police/Local Authority on demand.
The Recording equipment and tapes/discs shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual. An operational daily log report must be maintained endorsed by signature, indicating the system has been checked and is compliant, in the event of any failings actions taken are to be recorded.
In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the Premises Licence holder/DPS MUST report the failure to the Police or Council Licensing immediately.
The CCTV shall be a system that is approved by a Greater Manchester Police Crime Reduction Advisor and is working to a satisfactory standard.
The CCTV shall be in use and recording at all times the business is open.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Disabled persons will be made aware of evacuation arrangements in case of an emergency by means of signage ie Fire Exits
Any out breaks of fire shall be reported to the fire service immediately
All exits, fire exits and escape routes shall be clearly marked and will be free from obstructions.
Adequate and appropriate supply of first aid will be maintained on the premises for staff and public emergency.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
Any offensive smells from the premises shall be vented using a commercial canopy extraction system
Any food waste and rubbish will be removed weekly by trade waste collection service
A waste bin will be provided for customers at shop front area for food waste, containers etc.
Pest control will be managed by a professional contractor. Quarterly checks will be carried out and a written record will be made.
Where there are any offensive smells created on the premises, provision shall be made for such smells to be vented from the premises so that they do not cause a nuisance to nearby premises.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
No person under the age of 12 years, unless they are accompanied by a person over 18 years, shall be permitted on the premises after 22:00PM
Proof of age card will be required after 22:00PM for any person saying they are older than 12 year but look younger.
