LICENSING ACT 2003
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
Existing operating procedures and policies, which include risk assessments, training of staff in all aspects of regulatory compliance and operating policies and measures for the avoidance of noise or other nuisance to neighbours, will continue to apply.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
We have a full CCTV installed which stores recorded images for 28 days, the system comprises of 2 external cameras (one to the front and one to the rear of the store), 3 further cameras then monitor the customer area at the front of the store. Further cameras are then located in the back of house area. Recordings for this system will be made available to the Police and Local Authority when requested.
In our Oldham Pizza Hut Delivery store around 75% of orders are for delivery to our customers' homes, with the remainder being for collection. With the vast majority being delivery orders this at a stroke both minimises the likelihood of customers 'loitering' around stores.
Public Safety
We have fire extinguishers at appropriate places on the premises.
Exit signs at the appropriate places.
Health & Safety poster at a visible place on the premises.
Fire exits clearly marked with appropriate signs.
Risk assessments, including from fire are taken and we take measures necessary to avoid and control these risks.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
We installed the latest extraction system as part of our shop fit out and this system is designed to minimise smells and noise (copies of specification available on request).
Our store only sells full-size pizzas (which range from 9 inch to 14 inch), as a result, the size, temperature and consistency of the product deters customers from consuming pizza 'on the go' and the vast majority of customers choose to take their pizza home. This further reduces the possibility of loitering and litter being irresponsibly discarded.
The Protection of Children from Harm
No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 should be served after 9:30pm Food is sold in appropriate containers to stop them being harmed.
