Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
A notice will be put up in the shop stating our customer code such as :-
Loitering is prohibited, disorderly customers are prohibited, CCTV system is installed and recording at all times.
A floor manager will be on the premises at all times to implement the objectives.
Staff Training
The PLH or DPS will ensure all staff employed at the venue are aware of the law and their responsibilities under the Licensing Act and Health & Safety at Work, All staff must receive training within 3 months of employment. Refresher training must be given every 12 months.
The venue will maintain a written record of this training, detailing what date completed, when refresher is due/date refresher completed. What type of training provided. All staff receiving this training will sign this document to say the above has been provided and completed. This record will be made available to the Police/Council on request.
Prevention of Crime & Disorder
CCTV Conditions
A tamper-proof digital colour CCTV system will be installed and maintained at the premises to the satisfaction of Greater Manchester Police.
The system must run and record continuously for 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and recorded footage must be stored for a minimum of 31 days.
The system must provide a clear head and shoulders view to an evidential quality on every entry/exit route and within any other vulnerable areas as identified by Greater Manchester Police.
Recorded footage must be provided to a representative of any responsible authority on request. Such footage must be provided in an immediately viewable format and must include any software etc. which is required to view the footage. Any discs, portable drives or other storage media onto which footage is transferred must be provided by the premises and sufficient stock of such storage media must be kept on the premises at all times.
A member of staff who is trained to operate the system and supply footage must be present at the premises at all times when licensable activities are taking place.
The Designated Premises Supervisor must ensure that the CCTV system is checked at least once every week by a suitably trained member of staff. This check must include the operation of the cameras, the recording facilities, the facilities for providing footage and the accuracy of the time & date. A written record of these checks must be kept, including a signature of the person carrying out the check. This written record must be kept on the premises at all times and made available to a representative of any responsible authority on request.
Suitable signage informing customers that a CCTV system is in operation must be placed in prominent positions within the premises, including information on the Data Protection Act and the Human Rights act.
Security alarms will be installed on the premises.
There will be locks on all doors and where stock is kept.
A log on all crime incidents will be kept including how the incident was dealt with.
Close contact with the Police will be maintained.
Disorderly customers will be asked to leave the buildings.
At the request of GMP or other responsible authority, SIA security guards will be employed at the premises. (this decision will be based on functions that are occurring at or near to the premises) On other occasions the Premises Licence holder will make the decision as to whether SIA security guards are required.
Public Safety
We will abide by all Health & Safety regulations, which include’s putting up signs for fire exits.
Every 30 minutes a check of the shop will be made for spillages on the floor and any other hazards.
Three exits will be made available in order to avoid over- crowding.
Compliance with food safety regulation, no food that has gone off or deemed inedible will be served to customers.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
No loud music will be played on the premises.
Gatherings outside the premises will not be allowed.
Good waste disposal bins will be in operation to prevent littering and bad odour.
Appliances (canopy) to prevent smoke fumes from affecting local community have been installed.
Protection of Children from Harm
Any child under the age of 10 years will not be allowed inside the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
At 10pm each evening all children under the age of 18 years will not be allowed inside the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
No consumption of alcohol will be allowed on or at the premises.
All appliances or items that are deemed dangerous will be kept out of reach.
