Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Security staff will be engaged to act as 'Stewards' and to police inappropriate activity and manage traffic. Volunteers will also act as 'meet and greet' and to act as eyes and ears and be the first point of contact for any emergencies that may occur.
Public Safety
The bonfire and fireworks display areas will be fenced off in line with the appropriate guidelines. Trained security staff (SIA) will patrol the inner part of the fence to prevent public access. Site risk assessments will be completed. All rides will be checked by H & S to ensure they comply with H & S and have the required insurance. Stewarts will be in place to offer advice and act as first aid if the need arises.
Staff employed will have police checks. Appropriate signage will be in place.

The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Security will act to control any issues likely to cause a nuisance. Staff will be engaged to minimise/control traffic/public visitors on leaving the site and have strict reporting and emergency procedures which will form part of the risk assessment and will be available prior to the event. Public car parks will be made available away from the site to ease congestion and public nuisance to residents.
The Protection of Children from Harm
police will be informed prior to the event.
All staff involved with responsibility for children will have a current DBS check in place and will be on hand to deal with any issues affecting children.
Clear points of contact will be made available to inform parents, staff and the public where First Aid staff will be present at the event.
