19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
20 Mandatory condition: exhibition of films
(1) Where a premises licence authorises the exhibition of films, the licence must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this section.
(2) Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.
(3) Where -
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
(4) In this section -
“children” means persons aged under 18; and
“film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c. 39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
Training and awareness of all staff and committee. On special occasions extra personnel will be available to supervise bar and playing areas. When special occasions happen or are planned local inhabitants will be liaised with. Member of Saddleworth Pubwatch.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Member of Saddleworth Pubwatch. On special occasions no drinks sold for consumption off sales other than in a non-splintering plastic, paper or shatterproof glass. The club will retain it’s membership procedures in resepct of cricket and supervision of members. Persons who appear to be under 18 years of age will be asked for proof of age. Notices regarding age to be displayed.
Public Safety
All disabled persons on the premises shall be made aware of the evacuation arrangements. All doors on escape routes fitted with approved fasteners and maintained, free from obstruction, open in the direction of escape for public leaving and marked with exit. No curtain hanging or other decoration will obstruct any exit sign or fire fighting equipment. First Aid equipment kept available on premises.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Licensed premises marked in red on plan, to be used for licensable activities (inside). No sale or consumption of alcohol in area marked blue on plan (outside) after 21:30. Assessment of noise will take place during regulated entertainment in respect of nuisance to local residents. A notice asking public to leave quietly and respect neighbours to be erected at point of exit. The area marked in blue will not be used for regulated entertainment after 21:30. Any windows adjacent to houses will be double glazed and closed during entertainment.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
The Protection of Children from Harm
No children under the age of 12 years shall be allowed on the premises after 21:30 unless accompanied by an adult when the bar area is open. The club is a clubmark award club awarded by Sport England, all club coaches are CRB checked.
