Our objective is to carry on trading as we are now with the minimum of change (only as necessary in new legislation) and to maintain our present good record with both the general public and the Local Authority.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
To address all potential crime and disorder areas i.e. underage drinking, drug dealing or abuse and anti social behaviour. All staff to undergo straight training in order to recognise and the occurrence of such behaviour. Web cams and CCTV are already in place to monitor behaviour observed by responsible members of staff whilst at and away from the property.

Procedures would include annual inspections of fire prevention appliances ie. Fire extinguishers, fire alarms and emergency buttons in place on both floors. Both of our fire exits kept clear and clearly sign posted.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
The implementation of standards of due care concerning nuisances to the public such as smells - extraction facility fitted to standard, music - kept to minimum volume as it is only meant as background music. Vermin/pest - contract with local pest control company in place. Refuse ie. Bottles - placed in receptacles away from the restaurant at far end of car park.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Staff training would include age awareness of young persons. Children entering to dine would be with an adult therefore, taken straight to the dining area away from bar area. For parties of older children under 18 years and unaccompanied by adults our policy is not to serve alcohol to them.
All children under the age of 16 should be off the premises by 10:30pm at the very latest, save for private family functions held in a separate function room. (i.e. away from the bar area)
All children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult whilst on the premises.
