19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Public Safety
Provision of emergency lighting checked regularly.
Fire fighting equipment checked yearly.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Notices asking the public to leave quietly at the end of the night.
All music will cease at the desiginated time.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Children not allowed in the vicinity of the bar.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority/Magistrates' Court Order
All children under the age of 16 should be off the premises by 10:30pm at the very latest, save for private family functions held in a separate function room.
All children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult whilst on the premises.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed between the hours of 10:30 pm and 11:00 am, other than for access and egress and in the event of an emergency. If additional ventilation is subsequently necessary, then it shall be attenuated in accordance with a scheme submitted to the licensing authority.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
Amplified music (to include discos and karaoke) shall be allowed on 26 Saturdays per year between the hours of 19:00 and 23:00 and on up to another 10 occasions per year to cease at 23:00 and if the activity takes place on a Sunday, 22:30 hours.
Nothing in the above clause shall permit amplified live music.
The front of the patio area is not to be used for consumption of alcohol after 23:00 however smoking will be allowed.
When amplified music is taking place at the premises the location and direction of the speaker shall be away from the external and party walls.
When regulated entertainment is taking place the licensee shall undertake routine external monitoring of the premises to ensure levels of music are not excessive and take appropriate action when necessary. A log will be maintained by the Licensee of the monitoring of the premises.
