19 Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premise licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
The adjoining building is for business use therefore should any nuisance occur it would be minimal. Staff shall be constantly informed and meetings held regularly so to be able to provide a uniformity in upholding the objectives and to discuss any situations that may be apparent. So to deal with them quickly and satisfactly.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Staff have previously been informed to show diligence. When people come in, especially strangers, so to detract people from committing crime on the premises and to inform myself if anything is suspected. The building is thouroughly alarmed. At this time there are no security camera’s but it has been discussed and should be implemented in the near future.
Public Safety
The exterior of the pub shall be checked regularly in the event that customers may try to sneak out bottles/glasses. A check will also be made for any refuse that may have come from here. A full check of safety lighting has recently been carried out along with a full electrical and gas check. These checks should also be carried out annually.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
No waste will be taken out of a building during the hours of 20:00 and 08:00. The walls have previously been sound proofed. The music will be kept to a reasonable level (Due also to having children asleep upstairs myself). Relevant signs will be placed near to exit to remind people about noise levels when leaving.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. Where entertainment takes place less frequently, such noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property between 23.00 and 07.00 hours.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when entertainment is being provided, other than for access and egress and in the event of an emergency. If additional ventilation is subsequently necessary, then it shall be attenuated in accordance with a scheme submitted to the licensing authority.
The Protection of Children from Harm
It would be preferable to request ID at all times should there be any doubt concerning a potential sale of alcohol to/for any person/s. Parents will be requested to keep their children in their sights when possible and not to allow them to run around.
All children under the age of 16 should be off the premises by 10:30pm at the very latest, save for private family functions held in a separate function room.
