Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
Mandatory condition: exhibition of films
(1) Where a club premises certificate authorises the exhibition of films, the licence must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this section.
(2) Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.
(3) Where -
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
(4) In this section -
“children” means persons aged under 18; and
“film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c. 39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General
CCTV Surveillance with exterior lighting monitors arrivals and departures at the main door. Management, steward, stewardess and bar staff are informed of the Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to comply with all relevant provisions of the Act.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Club constitution includes rules governing the conduct of members and their guests within and adjacent to the club premises - admission to the club is confined to members and bona fide guests and controlled by a door person system. Guests arriving unaccompanied are scrutinized via CCTV, before admission and signing in by a host member. Club employees are instructed not to admit or serve members or guest who behave in a drunk or disorderly fashion. Misconduct is reported to committee to consider action under club rules.
Public Safety
The club complies with Health & Safety and fire precautions following risk assessment, preventive and control measures are in place to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees and entertainers while on the premises. The club complies with advised capacity limits, fire action notices are posted. Emergency escape routes are signposted.
The prevention of public nuisance
Signage is displayed near exits requesting members and guests to respect the needs of local residents by leaving quietly. When live or recorded music is played all reasonable steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighboring properties.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. Where entertainment takes place less frequently, such noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property between 23.00 and 07.00 hours.
The protection of children from harm
Persons under age 18 are only allowed in the club if accompanied with an adult member or bone fide guest. Young adults applying for membership must satisfy committee that they are over 18. Committee members, steward/stewardess, bar staff are instructed in the offence provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 relating to alcohol and the protection of children. Signage is posted at all bars prohibiting the direct/indirect supply or delivery of alcohol to children.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:

f. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.

Club premises Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
