Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General
The committee attempt to be pro-active rather than re-active, any improvement to any of the objectives is acted on asap.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Club rules govern the conduct of members and guests. Recommendations of the Crime Prevention Officer have been implemented. All private functions have to be approved by the committee.
Public Safety
The club is checked annually to ensure it complies with Food & Hygiene, Health & Safety and Fire Regulations. Any reported accidents are investigated to identify possible corrective answers. We have an appointed Health & Safety officer. Anyone cooking food on the premises must have passed their Food & Hygiene Certificate.
The prevention of public nuisance
All external doors and windows are kept closed when entertainment is provided, the windows are double glazed and there is an entrance lobby between the main door and the door to the lounge area. We will conduct regular assessment of noise levels and make a record of such. Waste bottles are only disposed of during afternoons. Any problems raised are investigated and corrective action taken if necessary/possible.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. Where entertainment takes place less frequently, such noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property between 23.00 and 07.00 hours.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
Disposal of waste bottles into external receptacles must not occur between 9.00 pm and 9.00 am.
The protection of children from harm
Children are expected to be accompanied by an adult at all times, either parent/guardian, or whilst playing for our junior teams, a qualified coach. All coaches and relevant club officials have been criminal record bureau checked as part of the English Cricket Boards “Safe Hands” child protection policy. We have appointed a child welfare officer.
