Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
20 Mandatory condition: exhibition of films
(1) Where a club premises certificate authorises the exhibition of films, the licence must include a condition requiring the admission of children to the exhibition of any film to be restricted in accordance with this section.
(2) Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection (3)(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.
(3) Where -
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
(4) In this section -
“children” means persons aged under 18; and
“film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c. 39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
The club considers the objectives will be met by the existing and proposed measures set out below.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Staff will be trained to diffuse difficult situations as will designated officials. Persons committing any violence will be banned. Persons who appear inebriated will not be served alcohol. Silent alarm to police installed. CCTV on premises already. Notices will be displayed.
Public safety
The club house has appropriate clearly marked emergency exits, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and fire alarm contact points.
The prevention of public nuisance
The club is situated some distance from the nearest residential premises on Byrth Road. No record of any complaints. Notices will be displayed asking people to leave quietly. Windows will be closed if music is being played.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. Where entertainment takes place less frequently, such noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property between 23.00 and 07.00 hours.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
No music or speech shall be relayed via external speakers other than for events with prior approval of the licensing authority.
The protection of children from harm
Children are not allowed on the premises unless accompanied by an adult. The club runs teams for children under16 and any players can only use the licensed area if accompanied by supervisors/parents. The club has a child protection policy and child protection officer. Notices are displayed. Stewardess and bar staff will ask for identity of age if suspect someone under 18 is attempting to purchase alcohol.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:

f. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.

Club premises Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
