Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General
We intend to continue to promote in an aggressive manner the four licensing objectives if the proposed variation is granted. The prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
The prevention of crime and disorder
We have a fully operational CCTV system covering both the inside and the outside of the clubs premises. This is tamper proof and is used to record during all hours that licensable activities take place on the premises. It is actually in operation on a 24 hours, 7 days a week basis. Any incident would be reported to the council.
Public Safety
Arrangements are I place for the safe evacuation of disabled persons. All exits and escape routes to those exits from the premises are provided with non-slip even surfaces and are kept free from all obstructions when the public are on the premises, external escape routes are also kept free from ice and snow. The club complies with advised capacity limits, fire action notices are posted and emergency escape routes are signposted.
The prevention of public nuisance
Notices are displayed in prominent positions inside the club instructing members and their guests to be quiet when vacating the clubs premises. Weekly announcements are also made to this effect, although the majority of our neighbors are club members, all members are made aware of their responsibilities to neighbors of the club.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when entertainment is being provided, other than for access and egress and in the event of an emergency.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents.
Disposal of waste bottles into external receptacles must not occur between 21.00 hours and 09.00 hours.
The customers must not use the external areas of the premises after 23:00 hours other than for the purpose of access and egress and in the event of an emergency.
Should the flat above be let to anyone other than the steward. Then prior notification and authorization should be sought from the local licensing authority.
The protection of children from harm
All children under 12 years of age must be off the clubs premises by 8pm Monday to Thursday and by 7pm on Fridays and Sundays. Children under 18 years of age must be off the clubs premises by 7pm on Saturday evenings. When in the club they must sit with their parents/guardians at all times. Notices to this effect are displayed in prominent positions inside the club.
Annex 4 - Embedded Conditions
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
