Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General
The running of a tennis & squash club with associated bar. The club is controlled by a committee of 20 adult members which meets every month. The clubhouse is open for sporting activities from 07:00 to 02:00, the bar is secured by locked roller shutters accessible by only a small number of committee members and steward. When the bar is open it is supervised by an employed steward. A limited number of club functions (eg dances) are held each year and are supervised by committee members. Only members and their guests are allowed on the premises.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Any incident of crime and disorder will be reported via the committee to the council/police. Only alcoholic drink purchased on the premises will be allowed to be consumed on same premises. Toughened glass/plastic containers will be used. No alcoholic drink will be allowed to be removed/drank off the premises. The maximum number of persons allowed on the premises shall be 80. Nobody under the age of 18 will be served with alcohol. Proof of age card will be requested if anybody appears under 18. A notice will be displayed to that effect. A notice will show the hours of opening of the bar and maximum occupancy. The number of tables and chairs is adequate for the maximum occupancy.
Public Safety
All exits are marked and illuminated and open in the direction of exit. They can be opened without a key, card or code. The doors are not obstructed. Fire retardant upholstery has been used. For club functions the maximum occupancy will be observed. Notices will be displayed for action to be taken in the event of fire. Fire extinguishers exist in places marked on plan. First aid equipment is available on the premises. There is an emergency lighting system. The toilets/washrooms are kept clean and supplies of soap, toilet tissue, hand drying are maintained regularly.
The prevention of public nuisance
The hours of opening for sale of alcohol will be Weekdays 18:00 to 23:00, except Thursday 18:00 to 00:00. Saturdays 16:00 to 00:00 and Sundays 15:00 to 17:00. The club activities are permitted between 07:00 to 02:00 (tennis & squash). In the event of a function providing music the external doors will be kept closed and sound will not be heard in noise sensitive property. No external speakers will be used. The windows are double glazed. Containers are provided for waste foods etc and are regularly emptied.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
The protection of children from harm
No person under the age of 18 will be allowed on the premises unsupervised whilst alcohol is being served. No person under the age of 12, unless accompanied by a person over 18 will be permitted on the premises for the purpose of a sporting activity.
Annex 4 - Embedded Conditions
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
Club premises
f. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.

Club premises Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
