Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
The club will actively promote the four licensing objectives among members. We are in the process of writing a child protection policy.
The prevention of crime and disorder
It is the policy of the club to have an officer of the club on the premises, whenever the club is open. To ensure that order is maintained the club will appoint a community liaison officer to work as required with responsible authorities.
Public safety
The club adheres strictly to fire safety regulations. Exit routes are kep clear for safe evacuation. Exits are accessible to the disabled. Risk assessments will be carried out and reviewed as necessary.
The prevention of public nuisance
Members are regularly reminded of the need to be considerate of our neighbours when leaving the club. Permanent notices will be posted pointing out our responsibilities to the surrounding community. We will continue to inform our immediate neighbours when a late function is taking place. We have neighbours on one side of the club only.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time. Where entertainment takes place less frequently, such noise should not be audible inside noise sensitive property between 23.00 and 07.00 hours.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
The protection of children from harm
The club has a child protection officer and two committee members have taken a child protection course. All members who have direct contact with junion teams undergo the CRB procedure. Children are only allowed on the premises if a responsible adult is present, e.g. team coaches/and or parents.
All children under the age of 16 should be off the premises by 10:30pm at the very latest, save for private family functions held in a separate function room.
