Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
General
Regular risk assessments will be undertaken on a general and event specific basis. Any representations, consultations and suggested conditions from responsible authorities will be welcomed in respect of the application.
The prevention of crime and disorder
The club will operate a zero tolerance drugs policy. There is a stringent code of conduct of conduct contained within the club’s Anti-Social Behaviour Policy. The club has implemented a strict Anti-discrimination Policy.
Public Safety
The Fire Service and Planning Department have been consulted in the process of the construction and furnishing of the premises. The club has a trained Disability Liaison Officer whose name and contact details are prominently displayed within the club.
The prevention of public nuisance
Taxi numbers will be made available to customers in order to facilitate swift aggress from the premises. The local companies have been written to about the sounding of horns to draw the attention of customers. Notices are prominently displayed asking the customers to leave the premises quietly and have respect for our neighbors. Windows and doors will be shut as much as is practicable during event evenings. The club has put in place a community liaison structure to receive and act on feedback from our neighbors.
For premises where entertainment frequently takes place, music and associated sources (including DJs, and amplified voices) should generally not be audible inside noise sensitive property at any time.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when entertainment is being provided, other than for access and egress and in the event of an emergency. If additional ventilation is subsequently necessary, then it shall be attenuated in accordance with a scheme submitted to the licensing authority.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
No music or speech shall be relayed via external speakers other than for events with prior approval of the licensing authority.
An alarm shall be fitted to all fire doors which alerts staff to when they are opened without authorization, whilst live or recorded music or other requested entertainment is taking place within the pavilion.
The protection of children from harm
OMBC’s ID policy has been adopted to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors. The name and contact details of the club’s trained Child Protection Officer is prominently displayed within the premises. All club coaches are Criminal Record Bureau checked.
Annex 4 - Embedded Conditions
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
Club premises
f. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
S.166 LA 1964
Club premises Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
