Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
This Indian takeaway fronts a reasonably busy main thoroughfare in Oldham. No alcohol is served - only hot food and drink (non alcoholic). The hours of closing vary between 00:30 am and 01:30 am.
The prevention of crime and disorder
We would refuse to serve any belligerent or argumentative or drunken members of the public. We would also refuse to allow them to congregate outside the takeaway. Public notices would be displayed to inform this.
Public Safety
Adequate entry and fire exits are evident. First aid kits and fire extinguishers are available. Floors are cleaned regularly to prevent slipping by public and staff.
The prevention of public nuisance
No left over food is evident. Waste food is deposited in secure bins. Food smells are dispersed via suitable ventilation. No nuisance will be made to other nearby buildings - both business and residential.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area outside and adjacent to the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter which originated from the premises.

The protection of children from harm
We will refuse to serve minors under 16 who are unaccompanied with adults after 9:30pm. No children will be allowed to congregate outside.
