Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
1. Our company has been trading and serving the public for the last seven years, we are well known to the Local Authority, the Police and the public.
2. Our premises are well lit, the windows are double glazed and the floor is anti slip vinyl covered.
3. A large bin is provided in the customer area and the rest of the premises are tidy at all times, and cleaned regularly, as we have a very strict policy on this matter.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. We have 24 hour recording CCTV systems with 4 cameras in our premises. Our premise is equipped with an intruder alarm system, which has a panic button and is connected to the central station, for a faster response and help from the Police in emergency and dangerous situations.
2. The staff are well trained to deal with emergency situations and to prevent crime by calling the Police and the staff are provided with the Police stations number.
Public Safety
1. Being a takeaway and serving food to the public, we do have a very strict policy on choosing the products we sell. Handling, preparing and serving foods at a very high standard is our priority, our staff are well trained and work according to the food hygiene regulations.
2. Our premises have a smoke alarm system which is connected to the central station for the safety of the public, and our members of staff and the premises are also equipped with a fire blanket and fire extinguishers and the staff are trained to use them when needed.
The prevention of public nuisance
Having adequate staff that are well trained to deal with the public nuisance and anti social behaviour and having CCTV systems with a monitor displayed had made us all very experienced. We have very little trouble and rarely we have called for help from the Police.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
The protection of children from harm
We do not have a play area or any activities for children and have a very small and very safe customer area. We welcome children and we do have children’s meal at an appropriate portion and price for them.
No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 should be served after 9:30pm.
