General - all four licensing objectives
I agree to the four licensing objectives and abide by the rules of the authority and work in partnership.
The prevention of crime and disorder
All staff will contact the police if there is any trouble. We are looking into having CCTV installed both inside and outside.
Public safety
At the front of the shop is the serving area there are no hot surfaces where the customers have access. The shop is well ventilated and well lit. The front waiting area is always clean. The front door has easy access to and from the shop.
The prevention of public nuisance
All staff are trained and anyone causing a nuisance will be asked to leave and the matter reported to the police. There are notices in place asking customers to be quiet when leaving the shop. There is also a very good extractor system inside the shop.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there shall be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area outside and adjacent to the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter which originated from the premises.
The protection of children from harm
No children are allowed in the shop alone after 9:00pm unless they are with an adult or parents. All staff are trained.
