Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
The owner is on hand to carry out steps to achieve the four licensing objectives, that is to prevent crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Orders are in small amounts of cash. No cheques or credit cards accepted. Monies are removed from front till and placed in a safe. There is an assistant at the counter at all times. CCTV is also to be installed.
Public Safety
The shop is clean and doors are easily opened without obstruction. Fire extinguishers are in place and serviced.
The prevention of public nuisance
The shop assistants supervise and control public nuisance in the shop. There is no noise or smells escaping. The kitchen is in the rear and adequate ventillation is installed. Litter from inside and outside the shop is removed.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
The protection of children from harm
Parents accompany children and they are regular customers. There is nothing in the shop/surfaces which are hot within the front of the paying area. Children will not be allowed unless accompanied by parents after 9:30pm.
