Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
Local shop premises catering for the supply of late night refreshment particularly hot food up to times as stated.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Premise has strict policy of refusing to serve any person using abuse.
Public Safety
There is an adequate entrance door leading directly onto a main road.
The prevention of public nuisance
As stated we will refuse to serve any person causing any nuisance late at night. We also sweep up and clear away any litter left outside the premises after closing time.
Where flyers are used by premises, the premises shall be responsible for the removal of any discarded flyers from public areas. Where large numbers of flyers are found in public areas relating to the premises and the premises does not remove them without delay, they shall meet the cost of removal by the Council.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
Where there are any offensive smells created on the premises, provision shall be made for such smells to be vented from the premises so that they do not cause a nuisance to nearby premises.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there shall be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
The protection of children from harm
All children are only allowed on the public side of the counter and under no circumstances would be allowed in the kitchen area.
No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 should be served after 9:30pm.
