Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
1. Review all objectives throughout the year.
2. Notify of changes to the licensing authority.
3. Inform employees and customers of any changes that could affect them.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. Inform police of any suspicious activities that may happen around the vicinity of our premises.
2. Ring the emergency services (police, ambulance, fire) as soon as possible, depending on the nature of the problem.
3. Use of CCTV inside and outside the building.
Public Safety
1. Make sure no packaging is left on the public paths or on the roads, outside the building.
2. Maintain and clean outside our building at all times.
3. Make sure fire exits are not blocked.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. Make sure all employees understand that any nuisance caused by them, is not tolerated, whether inside, or on their break time, when they leave the building.
2. Not play any music/radio which can be heard outside.
3. Display notice telling customers to leave quietly in the evenings.
There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste food and other refuse from the premises. Those containers shall be constructed, maintained and located/secured so that access to them by vermin and unauthorized persons is prevented and arrangements made for the regular disposal of their contents in accordance with the duty of care provisions (Section 34) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Where the premises provide food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there shall be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area outside and adjacent to the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter which originated from the premises.
The protection of children from harm
1. We will not allow unaccompanied children under the age of 12 to carry out hot food, without their parents consent.
2. Inform police of any children that are lost or distressed.
No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 should be served after 9:30pm.
