Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
Staff are trained to remain calm and in control of the situation when dealing with troublesome customers.
Telephone close by with local Police station on quick dial if Police assistance is required.
The prevention of crime and disorder
The shop operates zero tolerance to:
1. The use or sale of drugs on the premises
2. The sale of stolen goods
3. The use of forged bank notes
In all instances the Police will be called.
Public Safety
All glazing in the public area conforms to regulations.
All seats are fixed to prevent them being used as missiles.
Warning of slippery floors in wet conditions.
The prevention of public nuisance
Flue and extractor system cleaned on a regular basis and maintained by specialist to eliminate noise, smell and vibrations.
At closing, staff will check outside and dispose of any litter left by customers.
Trade waste is stored in leak proof bins and emptied by a licensed contractor.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note, this may also include a reference to vehicles).
The protection of children from harm
It is policy that all minors must be accompanied by an adult as hot food not carried properly can burn.
No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 should be served after 9:30pm
