Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
General
To promote the four objectives in partnership with the Local Authority and other statutory bodies by word of mouth, leaflets, posters on the premises and any other forms of publicity.
The premises shall be well lit and rubbish bins shall be provided internally and externally. CCTV is installed at the shop; all exit signs are clearly marked. We sell kebabs and curries that are prepared and packaged for the customer to takeaway and be consumed off the premises.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Work alongside the Police, Local Authority, local businesses and any statutory organisations to increase awareness of issues related to crime & disorder.
Opening times are clearly visible inside and outside the shop. No food is consumed on the premises as the food is taken away.
We have a personal attack button in the shop that is connected directly to the police.
Public Safety
Proactively identify risks and hazards to the public and report them to the relevant persons and bodies in order to isolate and make safe the environment.
We have a non slip floor, doors and windows are checked regularly to ensure correct operation.
All exits are clearly marked and well lit.
We have first aid kits and fire blankets.
We have easy access for emergency services at the front and rear of the premises.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Work with local patrols & businesses to identify, locate and report any situations and actions that cause public nuisance.
We have waste bins outside the shop and the area is well lit.
There is also a bin inside the shop for any rubbish. we clear this on a daily basis.
We also have a large bin in the back to empty the rubbish.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Be alert and attentive to the locale, confront & report suspicious behaviour to patrols and the Police in order to action an immediate response to safeguard the children.
We do not have a lot of children coming into the shop after 8-9pm and if we do then they are usually accompanied by adults.
In the event of any issues with child safety then we shall make contact with Oldham Police and Social Services.
